Allied Air was founded in 1998 by Captain Valentine Tongo — Chief Executive and principal owner. A seasoned airline pilot, he has operated many types of jet aircraft including the Boeing 747, 707, HS-125, BAC 1-11 and DC-10, bringing a lifetime of aviation knowledge to the airline.
Fully authorised and recognised by the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority as a National Flag Carrier, Allied Air is the designated cargo airline on numerous routes across Africa under the Bi-Lateral Services Agreement.
